The ring is our shared design language.
Every design integrates a metal ring. Not as a limitation, but as an anchor that makes each piece feel unmistakably Beyond Bounds.
Within that system you have freedom on silhouette, proportion, surface, and how the light is shaped.

Beyond Bounds started as a small Amsterdam studio exploring what 3D printing could become in lighting.

Kickstarter campaign
In March 2025, we launched our first design TERRA on worldwide crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
first collaboration
Our first designer collaboration is NOVA ONDA, created with French designer Abraham Muller. It set the foundation for how we work with designers and taught us how to go from concept to market.

Printed on demand
Every lamp is made only after you order in our studio, so nothing is produced to sit on the shelves.
Hand-finished locally
Edges are sanded, cords fitted, and surfaces sealed by our team in the canal-side studio.
Certified authentic
An NFC tag under the base links to a digital passport with date, colours and unique edition number.
The material
Sustainable by design.
We choose polymers and fibres that feel warm in the hand and sit light on the planet, while doing the most to increase lifespan of all our materials.
Bio-based core
Our primary filament is PLA made from corn and sugar, renewable and low-impact.
Reused wood fibres
We add reclaimed wood fibres and recycled PET-G wherever performance allows, cutting virgin plastic.
Recycling filament
Faulty prints and support materials is saved and sent back to our manufacturer for a new lifetime.
